"Tolemia" and her trangressor appearance that made her so popular in 1999, the year she made her debut in Ortigueira, remain in the past. Since then, more than a decade of hard work: solo albums as bagpiper (“Xilento” and “Misturados”) and as pianist (“From Russia to Brazil”), over twenty collaborations with other artists and concerts all around the world.
Now, after spending some productive time in New York and after her international success in both fields, she will return to the Estrella Galicia Stage to present her recently released album. In “The Galician Connection”, the artist brings closer together and connects the piano and the bagpipe to the contemporary music, vanguards and jazz.
It is about an intimist and risky work, with collaborations such as from Rosa Cedrón or mezzo Patrice Jegou, which includes a dozen of theme songs. The album combines Pato´s classic formation and her love for more traditional sounds. She opens a new professional path and she does it surrounded by special collaborators. Surprising.
