The group assumes in 2014 the organization of the opening session and the bands parade o the folk event. In addition, as every year, the founding band of the Festival, in the time of Xavier Garrote, participates in the Friday concert session.
The oldest pipe band in Galicia, created in 1975, being the precursor of the later piping movement, takes the stage with fifty musicians, including pipers, percussionists and dance troupe, to present a purely traditional repertoire of Galician music and dance.
Directed by Rodrigo López, it is an authentic institution in the municipality, and keeps alive the vindication of the role of the Galician bagpipe in our culture.
