LIDIA INDIA

Lidia India is an artist from Ferrol whose musical style emerges from the intersection of tradition and sonic exploration. Her music fuses Galician rhythms, roots-based percussion, traditional melodies, and electronic elements, creating an intimate, vibrant experience deeply connected to the body and emotion. Born in Ferrol, she discovered her artistic voice while traveling through Latin America, particularly Brazil. These experiences shaped her musical identity and led her to develop a unique style that blends the essence of Galicia with the colors, rhythms, and sensibilities of other cultures.

Since returning to Galicia in 2014, she has participated in various musical projects, building a career defined by constant exploration and the blending of musical traditions. In 2022, she released her debut album, “Nas Rúas”, and is currently working on a new record scheduled for 2025. Her artistic vision transcends borders, drawing from both ancestral and contemporary influences while remaining true to a core essence: singing from the heart and for the body.
