BREO

BREO is a Galician folk group formed in late 2022, blending traditional music and the intangible cultural heritage of Galicia with contemporary sounds to create a fresh, roots-based musical proposal. With a powerful and carefully crafted stage presence, the group is committed to keeping tradition alive through emotion and innovation.

Their debut single, “Nao Senlleira,” was released in February 2023, followed by the instrumental track “Alumea-lo pan” and “Canto Raibas,” featuring Sabu l’Aviseu. In 2024, they released their first album, Máis alá, a sonic journey through original compositions and traditional Galician and Atlantic songs, paying tribute to the magical world of Galician culture and the generations who kept it alive.

BREO has performed at festivals such as Folk de Sisalde, Magosto de Balboa, Feito a Man, and St. Patrick’s (A Coruña), establishing themselves as one of the most promising new acts on the contemporary folk scene.
