Elephant Sessions was formed in 2012 by Euan Smillie, Alasdair Taylor, Seth Tinsley and Greg Barry in the Scottish Highlands.
They released four albums: The Elusive Highland Beauty (2014), All we have is now (2017), What Makes You (2019) and For the Night (2022). With their proposal of traditional, funk, and electronic music, they create a new and charming sound by using bass, guitars and drums, all mixed with the most traditional sounds of Scotland.
Winners of the BBC Scots Trad Music Awards with two awards “Record of the Year” in 2017 and “Live Performance of the Year” in 2018, they are touring inside and outside the UK, attracting both amateur and expert audiences.
