GWENDAL

A legendary group from the Celtic revival of the 1970s, with twelve albums released, a gold record, and a Charles Cross Award, they have spent over 40 years performing on major stages across Europe—especially in Spain, where they have built a strong emotional connection with audiences. Their instrumental compositions draw inspiration from traditional melodies, enriched by jazz rhythms and rock influences.

In 2016, they recorded a live CD-DVD at the Getxo Festival, which also served as an opportunity to invite four of the most prominent artists from the Spanish Celtic scene to join this festive fusion of cultures. Between 2024 and 2025, they are releasing a new studio album, coinciding with the tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of the release of their first record, Irish Jig.
