Mallou is a tribute to the bagpiper Xoán Bello Mallou, and is born as a result of the love for folk music of Benxamín Vázquez and Sabela Rey, Xoán’s granddaughter.
In this project they combine American and Galician traditional music, blues, soul and country, among others, to create an intimate atmosphere that escapes from complications and invites you to stay.
Their repertoire includes songs that are part of Galician culture along with their own compositions, inspired by referents such as Fran Pérez, Narf, or Suso Vaamonde.
