After 30 years of experience as a dancer, choreographer, ETRAD teacher or ethnographic researcher, he launches his first own album, Peixe, accompanied by great musicians like Pepe Vaamonde, Aida Tarrío from Tanxugueiras, Rodrigo Romaní from Milladoiro and SonDeSeu, or Alasdair Fraser, responsible for soundtracks like The Last Mohican or Pirates of the Caribbean.
His music goes from the purely traditional tunes, with songs recovered from different parts of Galicia performed a cappella, to fusions with more recent styles such as rap in the single Quen son eu?, in which he joins García MC from Dios Ke Te Crew to contribute both with his tambourine and his voice.
Xisco Feijoó is part of several projects linked to Galician folk, such as the Vai de Baile section of Luar as a jury member, ETRAD (Escola Municipal de Música Folk e Tradicional) as a teacher, OFG SonDeSeu as coordinator of the singing section, among others.
